About Save Clemson

Save Clemson began in mid 2024 as a grassroots effort started by residents and friends of the Clemson community opposed to the proposed rezoning of Keowee Trail to allow for a 7 story massive student housing complex (The HUB). After city council voted 4-3 in favor of the rezoning to a Planned Development allowing The HUB to move forward, Save Clemson PAC held a candidate forum and paid for mailers supporting candidates who supported the responsible development goals of Save Clemson. 

Post election, Save Clemson will focus on educating the Clemson area on upcoming development decisions which could impact the quality of life in the Clemson area.

We share a love of Clemson and believe in responsible development that preserves the beauty and accessibility of the Clemson area.
